For most of us, last Wednesday was just another day of work or school as we waited patiently for a fun-filled and action-packed weekend of baseball to arrive.
BUT NOT FOR NOR’EASTERS ALUMNI JACKSON GILLIS AND LEON PAULINO!
With the 403rd pick (13th Rd) in the 2019 Major League Baseball Draft, the Milwaukee Brewers selected Jackson Gillis. Ten rounds later, Leon Paulino was selected by our very own Boston Red Sox with the 707th pick (23 Rd) overall.
We’re extremely proud of both Jackson and Leon for all their hard work and dedication over the years. They are both amazing young men that have achieved their biggest dream. We’re also very lucky to be able to say that they’ll always be a part of our Nor’Easters family.
We’ll be watching fellas…….. and hoping for a Sox-Brewers World Series in the coming years!
